On the evening of May 28, 2026, BYD held its “Dare to Lead” intelligentization strategy launch event in Shenzhen. During the event, BYD announced that its L3/L4 autonomous driving-ready “God’s Eye” platform will be the first to feature a flash camera. Specifically designed for capturing high-speed moving objects, the camera delivers ultra-low latency (<1ms) and high-speed dynamic perception capabilities at 1000 fps. A BYD spokesperson emphasized, “The moment a fast-moving electric scooter appears around the corner, the flash camera can easily capture it. This means that even before a risk occurs, the system is already prepared.”
