AlpsenTek is focusing on HVS technology and sensor development, to enhance imaging quality and to expand vision.
Built on its proprietary Hybrid Vision Sensing (HVS) technology and architecture, AlpsenTek has accumulated innovations in the APX (ALPIX) HVS chips. APX smoothly unify conventional image sensing and novel event-based perception at the architectural, pixel, data, and algorithmic levels. They enable simultaneous capture and synchronous output of both static/low-frequency imagery and dynamic/high-frequency visual information, delivering authentic motion data even in challenging lighting conditions. Without compromising image quality, APX sensors achieve highly energy-efficient dynamic vision perception.
To enhance image enhancement experiences
Leveraging this reimagined approach to visual information acquisition, spatio-temporal data alignment, and readout methods, our HVS technology has enabled productization of high-end imaging enhancement applications-including video/image deblurring, video frame interpolation, highlight capture, AI-ISP, and high dynamic range (HDR) imaging.
To enhance edge AI sensing
Hybrid vision technology also empowers edge AI devices and hardware with low-power, low-computation, robust, and secure visual perception-supporting applications such as object/feature detection, tracking, recognition, and human-machine interaction.
