AlpsenTek’s Hybrid Vision Sensor APX-014 Named “Sensor/MEMS of the Year” at IIC Shanghai 2026

(SHANGHAI,March 31, 2026) — AlpsenTek was honored today at the International Integrated Circuit Exhibition and Conference (IIC Shanghai 2026), where its APX-014 (ALPIX-Pizol) received the “Sensor/MEMS of the Year”award.

Yingyun Zha, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of AlpsenTek, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The accolade recognizes the industry’s outstanding technical achievements and innovative products in the sensor and MEMS sector over the past year.

Enhancing Machine Perception

The award-winning APX-014 is a hybrid vision sensor for AI motion perception, featuring global shutter capabilities. With AlpsenTek’Hybrid Vision Sensing (HVS) sensor architecture, APX014 integrates two distinct technologies:

  • Event-based Vision Sensing (EVS): For high-speed, low-latency motion detection with wide dynamic range.
  • Global Shutter Active Pixel Sensing (GS-APS): For high-quality, synchronized image capture.

Since its debut in March 2025, APX014 has achieved adoption across the robotics, AI hardware, and consumer electronics sectors. Its patented architecture allows low power consumption and high dynamic range, providing a critical hardware gateway for the AI wave.

“Receiving the ‘Sensor of the Year’ award is a testament to the industry’s recognition of our dedication to hybrid vision technology,” said Yingyun Zha. “AlpsenTek remains committed to original R&D. We are pushing the boundaries of smart vision sensors—moving beyond simple imaging to true intelligent perception—to provide more efficient, native vision sensor and solutions for the AI era.”
