(SHANGHAI,March 31, 2026) — AlpsenTek was honored today at the International Integrated Circuit Exhibition and Conference (IIC Shanghai 2026), where its APX-014 (ALPIX-Pizol) received the prestigious “Sensor/MEMS of the Year”award.

Yingyun Zha, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of AlpsenTek, accepted the award on behalf of the company. The accolade recognizes the industry’s most outstanding technical achievements and innovative products in the sensor and MEMS sector over the past year.
Redefining Machine Perception
The award-winning APX-014 is the industry’s first intelligent machine perception hybrid vision sensor to feature Global Shutter capabilities. Developed using AlpsenTek’ proprietary Hybrid Vision Sensing (HVS) architecture, the chip integrates two distinct technologies:
- Event-based Vision Sensing (EVS): For high-speed, low-latency motion detection with wide dynamic range.
- Global Shutter – Active Pixel Sensing (GS-APS): For high-quality, synchronized image capture.
Since its debut in March 2025, the APX-014 has achieved widespread adoption across the robotics, AI hardware, and consumer electronics sectors. Its unique architecture allows forultra-low power consumption and high dynamic range, providing a critical hardware gateway for the global AI wave.Since its debut in March 2025, the APX-014 has achieved widespread adoption across the robotics, AI hardware, and consumer electronics sectors.
