AlpsenTek participated in the INNOTECH Innovation Carnival, jointly creating a new model of university-enterprise cooperation

On June 15, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) hosted its third INNOTECH Carnival, bringing together leading tech enterprises, industry experts, investors, faculty, and students. AlpsenTek, a pioneer in hybrid vision sensing, was invited to exhibit its latest Hybrid Vision Sensing (HVS) chip technology and products.

The HVS sensor device—featuring high frame rate, wide dynamic range, and low power consumption—drew significant attention. Attendees experienced live demonstrations of its low-light high-speed motion capture capabilities, acknowledging its potential in consumer electronics, robotics, and machine vision.

Since 2023, AlpsenTek has collaborated closely with HKUST(Guangzhou) teams on cutting-edge vision sensing research. A joint paper, “RGB-Event ISP: The Dataset and Benchmark,” was published at the top-tier AI conference ICLR 2025 (International Conference on Learning Representations) in April.

The carnival advanced industry-academia partnerships and ignited students’ passion for technological innovation. AlpsenTek will continue partnering with HKUST(Guangzhou) and other institutions to drive the growth of the Greater Bay Area’s innovation ecosystem.
